Thankfully, the BQE was pushed along the western border and topped by Brooklyn Heights Promenade, which became a major destination thanks to its breathtaking views of the river and Manhattan skyline. The promenade has also earned starring roles in countless TV shows and films, including “Annie Hall,” “Moonstruck” and “Prizzi’s Honor.”
Brooklyn Bridge Park, which began development in 2010, is an 85 acre waterfront wonderland that stretches along the entire western border of Brooklyn Heights,offering playgrounds, sports fields, beaches, gardens and more.
